Rebecca Steltner, born 1982 in Hamburg, Germany. Lives in London.

After her abitur in Hamburg, she came to Whitstable, UK to study for a BA in Comparative Literature at the University of Kent where she edited the literary magazine Logos. In 2003/2004 she took an MPhil in European Literature at Queens' College, Cambridge, spending her holidays working in a bookshop in Brussels.
Rebecca has been writing poetry in German since her childhood and more recently prose and poems in English. She has been published in anthologies and literary magazines such as 'Dreischneuß', 'Tears in the Fence', 'Muschelhaufen', 'Macondo' and "Hamburger Ziegel 2000/2001 and 2004/2005","Vertraulich" and "Nordsee ist Wortsee" (June 2006).
